As a property finder I am able to offer assistance with both on-and off-market property searches. I can view properties on your behalf when life is too hectic, making property suggestions that you may not have considered with my outside the box thinking. Whilst using my knowledge and experience gained in my previous career as a local estate agent , I am able to give you an insight into the local property market that only comes from a life time of living and working in this beautiful part of the world.

I feel it is important to have a professional helping you through what can be at times a stressful and complicated buying process. Over the years I have encountered many people who have spent years traveling up and down the M6 motorway missing out on many properties due to their distance from the area. I aim to bridge this gap by being your contact on the ground in the area you wish to be in. The Lake District is a place like no other, often having certain quirks associated with the land that homes occupy, which us locals take for granted, for example septic tanks and unusual rights of way that to somebody moving from the out of the area could seem daunting and confusing. However, with my vast experience in dealing with numerous house sales over the years, I have come across many scenarios and hurdles during the legal process. With the right level of experience and with the right people on the job there will be a way to remedy the situations you face.

After Sales

The work is almost certainly never complete once we have found you a property. After a sale is agreed, I would be involved in the following; organising a survey, arranging local trades quotes, obtaining legal advice and keeping all communication channels open within the chain. I can put you in touch with architects, removals firms, builders and anything else you need for a successful relocation and be on hand to discuss any issues that arise during the process.

With my behind the scenes knowledge of estate agency I am able to offer an invaluable insight into the buying process as well as the local property market. Everything I know only comes with years of hard work, training and dealing with many property sales within the area.

I’m here once again to take the stress and strain out of the buying process even being on hand to collect your keys on completion day.

Private Clients

If you are in the public eye, house hunting can be a little difficult. You may have time constraints or it might be physically impossible to look for something yourself. Working along side you or your agent I am able to pre-view properties on your behalf both on- and off-market before you make the journey to the area to see the options available to you.
