Rightmove re ajust end of year predictions.

Rightmove have re adjusted their predictions for the end of this year from -1% drop in the UK market to a +1% growth.

Looking at the UK as a whole rather than just The Lakes this shows that activity has increased since the election result and the decrease in the UK base rate. This has boosted buyer confidence and has shown activity has increased on their site.

With another date in the diary at the end of October for the UK’s first budget under our new government it would seem Rightmove are predicting a further increase in activity towards the end of the year.

Could we be heading for a non-seasonal market again with a busy November and December ahead of us?

January has always been a busy month for buyers looking to move so maybe winter 24/25 will be a busy time for the UK property market.
